Mocha the Dog needs a home
Hi there! Are you looking for a mellow girl with a few years on her? I might be just who you're looking for!
My name is Mocha and while it is not polite to ask a lady her age or weight I am roughly 11 years old and 45lbs. I am a subdued girl just looking for a home to live out my golden years after having to separate from my owner due to no fault of my own. Don't get me wrong though, I still have spring in my step and have been enjoying my foster mom's fenced in yard. Having a fenced in yard is not a requirement for me though since I am pretty easy going on leash.
I am looking for a home where I can be the one and only fur baby. After living so long as an only dog, I really do not speak ?dog? well and can be testy with them even when they are being polite. Foster mom is working on trying to socialize me with others but is taking it nice and slow since I have already been through a huge life change at my age. I just don't seem to know what to do with another dog when they come into my space right now.
I also need a home with no cats please. They are just too enticing for me since I have never lived with them before and my curiosity can get the best of me.
I am fully housebroken, and crate trained. However, the crate is not necessary for me since I am an older girl who does not chew on things that do not belong to me.
I am living with kids in my foster home and I do pretty well with them. The younger ones tend to make me a little nervous because they are more unpredictable (1 and 4 year old boys) but the older two are very sweet and know not to sneak up on me (5 and 6 year old girls).
